Grape Salad

    • 2pounds green seedless grapes
    • 2pounds red seedless grapes
    • 8oz package cream cheese
    • 8oz container sour cream
    • 1/2cup granulated sugar
    • 1tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/2cup brown sugar
    • 1/2cup toasted pecans
    1. Wash the grapes and dry thoroughly. Put the grapes in a large serving bowl. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar and vanilla. Mix well using an electric mixer. Pour over grapes and mix thoroughly until all grapes are coated.
    2. Mix brown sugar and toasted pecans (see note) together and sprinkle evenly over the grapes. Chill and enjoy. It’s even better the second day!
    Recipe Notes

    To toast pecans, put your pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast in a 325 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Check often and stir to make sure they don’t burn.
    *I usually toast 2-3 cups of pecans at a time and then just store in the freezer until I need them.
