Step 1:Preheat oven to 225F and season ribeye with salt and pepper after drying with paper towel.
Step 2:Place on wire rack over a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 3:Place in oven and roast until desired internal temperature is reached.
Step 4: Heat cast iron skillet five minutes before your steak is done. Add oil.
Step 5: When oil is shimmering sear for a couple of minutes and turn over; add butter, garlic and rosemary. Sear second side while spooning butter over continuously.
Step 6: Use tongs to sear edges. Remove from pan and cover with foil loosely; rest for ten minutes.
Step 7: Cut away bone and then cut ribeye into slices. Spoon butter mixture over slices and enjoy!!
