New Orleans - Style Shrimp Creole
A quick and easy recipe, you can have this creamy shrimp creole on the table in twenty minutes or less, and it is a great one-pan meal!
Here's what you will need:
green bell pepper
cajun or creole seasoning
ground black pepper
Here is what is in it:
Sauté green pepper, mushroom, onion, garlic over medium heat when butter melts for about five to seven minutes. Lightly season with salt and ground pepper.
Add shrimp and tomatoes; cook for three minutes.
Add the sour cream, tomato paste, and Creole and Cajun seasoning blend; mix well and cook for about two to three minutes more until thoroughly combined and bubbly.
Remove from heat and serve over rice and garnish with fresh parsley if you like!
