How to Make the Best Seafood Jambalaya
First, brown the chicken and sausage pieces in a large dutch oven.
Remove the meat and set aside. Sauté the chopped "trinity" for 5 minutes.
Add the Creole seasoning, and spices. Cook 5 minutes, then add garlic.
Next, add the uncooked rice. Stir well and cook for 3 minutes.
Add the chicken, sausage, stock and tomatoes. Stir and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, cook for 20 minutes and stir occasionally.
Turn off the heat. Add shrimp, cover, and rest 10 minutes to cook shrimp.
