Southern Deviled Eggs
The tasty filling is full of rich egg flavor and loaded with creamy mayonnaise, spicy yellow mustard, dill pickles, and my secret ingredient, dill pickle juice.
Here's what you will need:
dill pickles & juice
paprika (optional) or smoked sweet or hot paprika
Steam eggs for fifteen minutes.
Right away cool in a bowl with ice and water. Then crack and peel.
Cut lengthwise and pop out the yolk carefully.
Smash yolks with fork until smooth.
Step 5: Mix remaining ingredients together well.
Taste and season with more salt if needed.
Add more pickle juice if mixture is too dry.
Step 6: Using two spoons fill egg whites with yolk mixture.
Step 7: Optional; add a pinch of paprika. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy!
