Texas Toast Garlic Bread

In this simple recipe, Texas toast, which is extra-thick, super soft white bread, is slathered with rich garlic butter, topped with mounds of parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and then baked in the oven until it is golden brown.

Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients: Texas toast butter garlic italian parsley parmesan Mozzarella

1.   Preheat oven to 400F.

2.   To make garlic butter - combine softened butter with garlic and parsley in a small bowl.

3.  Use a knife to liberally cover one side of bread with the garlic butter.

4.  Place bread buttered side up on a baking sheet and top with both cheeses.

5.  Bake for ten minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Tips:

-You can make a few hours ahead and then bake when ready -You can even prepare it and freeze it -Leftover garlic butter will keep covered in fridge for one week
