Easter Bunny White Chocolate Bark - An Easter Treat
Easy Easter Bunny White Chocolate Bark is luscious and creamy white chocolate over crunchy chocolate graham crackers, that is topped with whimsical and colorful Easter candy.
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler over medium-low heat (I use a glass bowl over a saucepan of simmering water). Stir until smooth, then allow to cool slightly.
Place the graham crackers side by side in a single layer on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
Spoon the melted white chocolate over the graham crackers and use an offset spatula or knife to smooth it out. Make sure to cover the graham crackers completely.
Place as much or as little of the candy on top of the chocolate, in whatever pattern you like. Optional, garnish with small pieces of edible Easter grass. When you have placed all of your candy on top, gently press it down to make sure everything is set.
Set aside for 3 hours for the chocolate to harden. Cut or break it into 16 pieces.
Notes
You can also melt the chocolate in the microwave by placing the white chocolate in a heat-proof glass bowl and put it in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate with a rubber spatula, return it to the microwave for another 30 seconds, then stir again. Continue to heat and stir in 30-second intervals until the white chocolate is smooth and creamy.
Serve these delicious treats at room temperature and store leftovers in an airtight container.
This delicious candy is pretty sturdy and should travel well if packed carefully. If you can't be with loved ones this Easter, it would make a terrific "thinking of you" gift!
You can use whatever candy you like to decorate your bark: jelly beans, Peeps, gummy bunnies, M&Ms, Speckled Easter eggs, candy eggs, Easter candy corn, Cadbury mini candy eggs Reese's mini chocolate Easter eggs, Hershey's eggs and, my personal favorite, Sweet Tart jelly beans would all be great too.
