This homemade deviled crab recipe is a Southern favorite bursting with fresh sweet lump crab meat, Old Bay and Creole seasonings, and a classic Ritz cracker and veggie filling.

Cook scallions, celery, and bell pepper over medium heat until soft.

Next, crush the crackers in a food processor or by hand in a plastic bag.

Blend the cooled veggies and other filling ingredients in a bowl.

Gently mix in crushed crackers and crab meat. Keep it lumpy!

Spoon into clean shells or ramekins. Add a topping of crackers and butter. 

Bake the stuffed crab at 375° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove the deviled crabs from the oven and serve immediately while warm.
