Easy Blackened Shrimp

In this quick and easy Blackened Shrimp recipe we coat fresh shrimp in a spicy blackening seasoning,  then pan sear with butter in a cast iron skillet. It's the perfect flavorful main course or appetizer!

How to Make Blackened Shrimp

First, combine the blackening spices in a small bowl. Set aside.

Melt butter and use a basting brush to coat the fresh shrimp.

Sprinkle on the blackening seasoning to cover all sides of the shrimp.

Melt butter in a hot skillet. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute per side.

Each side should be nice and caramelized, but take care to not overcook.

Serve blackened shrimp with your favorite southern side dishes!
