Easy Pan Fried Shrimp

“Crispy Pan-Fried Shrimp are fresh shrimp coated with flour and pan-fried in a small amount of olive oil until they are golden brown and crispy.

Heat the oil

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 

Prepare coating

Add flour, salt, garlic powder, and pepper to a large plastic bag. Add the shrimp and shake well. 

Finish Cooking

Turn over and cook on the other side for 1-2 minutes.   Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel. 

Tips

Place the plastic bag with the leftover seasoned flour in the freezer to reuse next time you make the shrimp.  Leave the tails on or off, it's your preference.
